12/4 HALIBURTON HISTORY HELPS PACERS PUNT CELTICS
On Tuesday night, the Indiana Pacers defeated the Boston Celtics 122-112 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to become the first team to qualify for Las Vegas. Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana (11-8) with his first career triple-double—26 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds. Haliburton scored 16 points in the second half, including four on a successful and-one opportunity and a three-pointer that gave the Pacers the lead in the closing minute. Boston (15-5) was led by Jayson Tatum’s 32-point, 12-rebound double-double. Kristaps Porzingis was out with a calf strain.
12/5 MILWAU-3 BUCKS KNICKS IN OUTSIDE SHOOTING BARRAGE
In a 146-122 quarterfinal win over the Knicks, the Milwaukee Bucks Һit 23 three-pointers and advanced to The Neon City. Over 60% from the field, Milwaukee (15-6) nailed 23 triples in 38 tries. Julius Randle’s best оffensive performance of the season—hitting all nine of his first-half shots and shooting 14-of-19—was wasted. The Knicks (12-8) couldn’t stop Milwaukee’s offense, led by Malik Beasley’s six triples and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 35-point, 10-assist double-double.
