OFFICIAL: Mohamed Salah won the highest award of the year at the awards ceremony in London, coming top in a fan vote

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah was announced as the winner of the 2023 Me𝚗’s Player of the Year award at the awards ceremony in London, coming top in a fan vote.

This is the third time Salah has received this award in his career after two previous times in 2018 and 2021.

At the club, the Egyptian striker has scored 27 goals and 17 assists in the 2023 calendar year in all competitions for Liverpool.

He topped the shortlist including top names from the English National Championship and Premier League such as Erling Haaland, Rodri, Bukayo Saka, Kieran Trippier and Ollie Watkins to win the 2023 FSA Player of the Year award.

Speaking at the ceremony, Salah said: “I want to thank everyone for the FSA award, especially because it was voted for by the fans. I just want to sаy thank you so much, I appreciate it.”
