Someone should start talking about NBA MVP right now, but it’s too early for that. The players who just won Player of the Month for November would be a great place to start.
On Monday, the NBA said that Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics were the guys. Both deserved it. Jokic has almost a triple-double a game with 29 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 9.2 assists for the reigning champion Nuggets, who are 12-6 so far this season despite some injuries. Jokic has the most points, boards, and assists in the NBA.
With 27.7 points per game, Tatum is the best player on the NBA’s best team so far this month.
He deserves it; he beаt out Victor Wembanyama in the West to win Rookie of the Month, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. of the Heat was the clear winner.
The November Coach of the Month awards were also given out. They went to Chris Finch of the Timberwolves and Jamahl Mosley of the Magic, two teams that have done better than expected to start the season.
