Joel Embiid is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Boston Celtics with an illness. Nic Batum (hyperextended right index finger) and Jaden Springer (illness) are probable. Danuel House Jr. (left quad bruise) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (fractured rib) are out, according to a source.

Philadelphia 76ers’ star center Joel Embiid is currently marked as questionable for the upcoming clash against the Eastern Conference leaders, the Boston Celtics. Embiid was a late omission from the Wednesday night game against the New Orleans Pelicans, which resulted in a 124-114 victory for the Pelicans. The Sixers will face the Celtics for the third time this season, with both teams securing a win in their previous encounters. The Celtics currently lead the Eastern Conference with a 14-4 record.

In injury updates, Nic Batum and Jaden Springer are listed as probable, with Batum participating fully in practice after a limited appearance in New Orleans. Springer, who missed the last three games, is expected to return. However, Danuel House Jr. remains sidelined since the Timberwolves game. On a positive note, Kelly Oubre Jr. is eyeing a return next week, holding an impressive season average of 16.2 points per game and a 37.8 percent three-point shooting rate.

On the Boston side, Kristaps Porzingis is ruled out with a calf strain, providing clarity on their frontcourt situation.

Kristaps Porzingis was absent in Boston’s previous victory against the Sixers, but in the initial matchup, he scored 29 points with a 10-of-19 shooting performance.
