Steph, Klay, Draymond reveled in the symbolic night after the Warriors’ victory on a historic day

On Thursday night at Chase Center, the Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 120-114. The victory was a cause for celebration for the renowned trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

The victory occurred on November 30th, 23rd, a date that coincided with the respective jersey numbers of the Big Three players for the Warriors. It was only natural that this prompted a moment of introspection over the remarkable achievements that the three individuals have achieved during their twelve years of working together in the Bay Area.

Following the victory, Curry, Thompson, and Green joined Bob Fitzgerald and Kelenna Azubuike, two broadcasters for the Bay Area Warriors on NBC Sports, to take in the tremendous run that the three of them have been on together. They also discussed the reasons why they have been able to achieve such exceptional success as teammates throughout the course of their careers.

“We’re all three different, but we love the game of basketball, so we vibe on the competitiveness and the will to win over the years,” Curry said of Fitzgerald and Azubuike. “We’ve been together for a long time.” One of the things that Draymond mentioned during our meeting a few years ago was that we never asked any of us to alter who we are. Clearly, we have developed and matured throughout the course of these years. Every one of us has a position, and we are a wonderful compliment to one another. Whether we are on or off the court, everyone of us is one of a kind. This resulted in a mesh.

 From the moment we jumped, we were aware of it. However, as Draymond mentioned, the fact that we are all three of us together and 12 years into our relationship is quite remarkable. That right there is a piece of history.Green expressed his gratitude unequivocally for the opportunity to play with Curry and Thompson, and he took great pleasure in the fact that his basketball career has afforded him this opportunity.

“To play with the two greatest shooters to touch the game of basketball, for myself who likes to play make, I’m lucky and blessed to play with these guys,” Green stated following the basketball match. As a result, I have been fortunate and blessed throughout my life, and I am thrilled and grateful to continue developing this endeavor.Thompson expressed his sincere gratitude for the opportunity to return to the court after suffering from a pair of catastrophic injuries that caused him to miss nearly two seasons of action. He went on to talk about what it meant to him to be able to play again after all the challenges he has encountered.

“To be out here just moving around, I missed one game this season; I plan on playing as many as I can,” Thompson added further. “At the moment, that is the primary focus of my attention. I am extremely thankful to Steph and Draymond for keeping things running well throughout the two and a half years that I was absent. That I am able to be back with these folks is not something that I take for granted. The thought of being able to play in front of these fans, and even seeing jerseys bearing the number 11 in the crowd, continues to give me chills to this day. To be able to be out here feeling fantastic and feeling healthy is something for which I am quite grateful.

Over the course of more than a decade, Curry, Thompson, and Green were the most dominant players in the league, and their dynamic style of play led to a significant change in the game of basketball.

You shouldn’t be fooled by the sentimental moment of euphoria that Golden State’s big three are experiencing since they have won four NBA titles together.
