FAMILY FIRST: Lebron James want to take 1 day off to join his son bronny James’s debut in USC

James understands his priorities.

His family and children come first, even if his professional basketball career has dominated his life. He added that if his son Bronny’s USC debut conflicts with a Los Angeles Lakers game, he’ll skip it.

“Family over everything,” James told Jovan Buha of The Athletic.

ESPN’s Jeff Borzello reports that Bronnny, 19, has been cleared for basketball play four months after a heart episode during a USC football practice.

James’ family publicized Bronny’s curable congenital heart condition in August.

Bronny will practice next week and play shortly after.

James, a top 2023 recruit, chose USC after excelling at Sierra Canyon School in Southern California. The Trojans’ top prоspect, Isaiah Collier, was also in the class, according to 247 sports composite.
