Top Favorites for NBA In-Season Tournament Crown According to FanDuel Odds
As the NBA In-Season Tournament heats up, FanDuel has identified the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks as the top two favorites to claim the inaugural NBA Cup. The Celtics lead the pack with +310 odds, closely followed by the Bucks at +340.
The Celtics’ status as favorites is hardly surprising, given their current standing as the premier team in basketball, led by stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Meanwhile, the Bucks, anchored by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, have found their rhythm after an initial slow start to the season.
In a thrilling group stage finale, the Celtics secured their spot in the Knockout rounds by defeating the Chicago Bulls by 27 points, setting up a matchup with the Indiana Pacers. The Bucks, on the other hand, clinched East Group A and will face the New York Knicks in the quarterfinals.
The Sacramento Kings follow as the third favorite with the highest odds among Western Conference teams at +490, propelled by a remarkable comeback win over the Golden State Warriors to advance to the quarters. The Los Angeles Lakers and the Phoenix Suns are next in line with +550 and +600 odds, respectively, with the Lakers securing West Group A with a perfect 4-0 record.
Completing the field in the Knockout stage are the New Orleans Pelicans (+1200), New York Knicks (+1400), and Indiana Pacers (+1700). The Pacers, boasting a flawless 4-0 record and the highest point differential in the East, will be a team to watch in the upcoming rounds of the tournament.
