LeBron James suffered the heaviest defeat of his career

As the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 138-94 on Monday night, LeBron James was dealt the most crushing loss of his entire NBA career. Joel Embiid was the driving force behind the victory.

The evening in Philadelphia was a mixed bag for LeBron James, who not only scored 18 points but also established a new record for the most minutes played in the history of the league.

After crossing the 66,298-minute milestone at Wells Fargo Center, the 38-year-old player etched his name even farther into the annals of basketball lore, surpassing the previous record held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

In spite of this, by the time the night was out, he was left with a record that was little less than desirable.

It is official that LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers suffered the most lopsided loss of his famous twenty-year career when they were defeated by a score of 44 points in Philadelphia.

But he was unable to prevent Joel Embiid and Co from winning by 44 points on the night

However, he was not successful in holding Joel Embiid and his teammates to a victory by a score of 44 points on the night.

Up until Monday’s flogging against the Sixers, his most humiliating defeat was in 2019, when Los Angeles was defeated by the Indiana Pacers by a score of 136-94. The Spurs were down by 42 points at the time of the loss.

In order to assist Philadelphia in their victory, Joel Embiid achieved the sixth triple-double of his career, which consisted of 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. This game was James’ most humiliating loss in the history of the National Basketball Association.

The Sixers went 22-for-46 as a team, which was one make short of the franchise record. Tyrese Maxey also scored 31 points and hit 5-for-12 from 3-point range on a night when Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts watched from courtside. Maxey’s performance helped the Sixers shoot 22-for-46.

Marcus Morris Sr. scored 16 points off the bench for the 76ers, who had lost two of their previous three games. He also made four of his five three-point shots. This season, Patrick Beverley went 4 for 8 from beyond the arc and scored 12 points. He finished the season with a field goal percentage of 3 for 22 from outside the arc.

Unfortunately, the predicted confrontation between Embiid and James never actually took place. Despite the fact that he scored 18 points in just 29 minutes, the 76ers were able to maintain their lead because to his excellent performance.

Although Embiid did not participate in the fourth quarter, the Sixers still managed to win the game by a score of 40-14. In addition, they started the game with a three-point shooting streak and ended it with a season-high 13 three-pointers on 26 tries, which allowed them to extend their lead to 25 points.

The loss goes down as the heaviest of his career, surpassing the previous record of 42 points

The defeat is the most significant of his entire career, exceeding the previous record of 42 points that he had obtained.

After a losing streak of two games, Philadelphia won their second consecutive game by defeating LeBron James and his teammates. Additionally, Kelly Oubre Jr. may be returning to the team in the near future.

Before Oubre was wounded in what is believed to have been a hit-and-run incident, he had averaging 16.3 points per game in eight games. He was a part of the shootaround, and it is possible that he may accompany the 76ers on their upcoming pair of road games.

With back-to-back away games on Wednesday at Detroit and Thursday at Oklahoma City, James will be looking to get back on track after suffering a record-setting loss in both of those games.
