The Los Angeles Clippers take on the Denver Nuggets in a game they may really be favored to win for the first time. While the Clippers have a few players on the injured list, the Nuggets are in the second night of a back-to-back.
The Clippers’ injury report lists just two players: Brandon Boston and Mason Plumlee. Brandon Boston is out with left quadriceps tendinopathy, which he has had since the first preseason game against the Utah Jazz. Mason Plumlee is out with a left MCL injury sustained when Julius Randle collided with him during the Knicks game. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook are all listed as available for tonight’s game against the Nuggets.
Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Vlatko Cancar, Hunter Tyson, and Peyton Watson are all listed as injured for the Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokic is doubtful due to lower back discomfort, Jamal Murray is out due to a right hamstring strain, Aaron Gordon is out due to a right heel strain, Vlatko Cancar is out due to left knee surgery, Hunter Tyson is doubtful due to sickness, and Peyton Watson is likely due to illness.
The Los Angeles Clippers have not defeated the Denver Nuggets since January 11, 2022; they have now lost seven consecutive games vs the Nuggets. Furthermore, since December 25, 2020, the Clippers have only defeated the Nuggets twice in the regular season. Denver has been completely dominant, but tonight is the Clippers’ greatest opportunity of breaking the run.
Tonight at 10:30 p.m. EST, the Clippers and Nuggets will square off.
