The tour will stop at the LeBron James Arena at St. Vincent-St. Mary. The original LeBron James high school rim and backboard are still in place. It chronicles LeBron’s meteoric climb from high school sensation to NBA superstar. His white suit from the 2003 NBA Draft, fan art, and authentic jerseys and footwear reflect his basketball journey.

Beyond basketball, the 19-time All-Star’s journey

The museum has recreated James’ office. Visitors may get to know the NBA legend and learn why he works so hard in this field. The show closes with an expanding display from the LeBron James Family Foundation. James’ “I Promise” mementos and bike from the foundation’s inaugural bikeathon demonstrate his commitment to the community.

It validates his notion that success requires collaboration both on and off the court. The basketball star’s influence on Akron extends beyond the museum. The $23 admission fee benefits House Three Thirty’s job training program for I Promise students, parents, and teachers. As a result, the Akron Hammer’s effect transcends beyond basketball to assisting others in succeeding.
