HOMECOMING: Bryce James, LeBron James’ son, takes a significant professional move as the kid seeks to follow in his father’s footsteps as a record-breaking NBA player

BRYCE James seems to be returning to Sierra Canyon, where his promising basketball career began.

Six months after quitting the famous high school basketball program, the youngest son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has allegedly returned.

Bryce James has reportedly returned to Sierra Canyon after a tumultuous summer

Bryce switched to Campbell High in May after finishing his sophomore year.

Simultaneously, his brother Bronny departed Sierra Canyon for his first year of college at USC.

He worked out with Chris Paul’s son, Chris Paul Jr., at Campbell High and competed in the Section 7 tournament in Arizona.

Over the summer, Bryce also participated in Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League.

According to ESPN, the James family donated to a new sports complex on the Campbell High campus.

However, the 6-foot-6 shooting guard was on the move again in August, this time to Notre Dame, the CIF State Division 1 winners.

He only stayed with the squad for three months and is currently back with Sierra Canyon, according to Sports Illustrated.

Bryce would have missed half the season if he had remained at Notre Dame since the James family did not relocate after the 16-year-old registered at the Sherman Oaks school for the autumn.

That is not the situation at Sierra Canyon, and since he did not appear in any Notre Dame games, the guard might be able to return to the floor as early as this week.

The Trailblazers won their first three games of the 2023-24 season.

As a sophomore, Bryce averaged 3.8 points per game in 12 varsity appearances for Sierra Canyon.

College schools, however, have closely monitored the athletic prospect’s progress.

Bryce, a four-star talent who may declare for the NBA draft in 2026, has already garnered offers from Ohio State and Duquesne University.

He signed a name, image, and likeness (NIL) agreement with Klutch Sports, LeBron’s agency, last year.

Meanwhile, the 19-time NBA All-Star made history again on Tuesday, becoming the first NBA player to achieve 39,000 career points in a 131-99 victory against the Utah Jazz.

In the first 14 games of the 2023-24 NBA season, LeBron averaged 25.7 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists.
