In KD’s absence, Devin Booker scores 40 points as the Suns beat the Grizzlies 110-89

The Grizzlies are winless at home and must wait another ten games before Ja Morant is allowed to return.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Memphis Grizzlies 110-89 in an NBA In-Season Tournament game on Friday (Saturday, Manila time) with a season-high 40 points from Devin Booker and 20 points from Eric Gordon.

Jordan Goodwin and Grayson Allen both had 14 points for the Suns, who were without their best scorer Kevin Durant, who was a late scratch due to right foot pain.

Waiting game for Suns

Memphis was led by Santi Aldama’s 21 points, while Derrick Rose contributed 17. The Grizzlies dropped their third game in a row and remain winless at home this season, despite 14 points from David Roddy.
