Kevin Durant discusses Scott Foster’s expulsion of Chris Paul from Wednesday night’s Warriors vs. Suns game.
The most memorable part of Wednesday night’s Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns game will probably be Chris Paul’s dismissal from the game by referee Scott Foster. Though Kevin Durant also scored thirty-two points against the Warriors, it was Foster’s sending of Paul off the floor after two technical fouls in the second quarter that really had the crowd going.
Foster even received some harsh remarks from Paul before he departed the floor. Regarding that specific heated exchange between Foster and the Warriors point guard, Durant speaks up.
“I looked up and they was talking for a little bit longer. I kind of felt like it wasn’t a warm exchange,” Durant said to reporters after the Suns’ victory against his old club in the postgame press conference, according to Warriors on NBCS.
Paul’s night ended early, as he finished with only six points and six assists in his 17 minutes of play. As a result, the Warriors had a smaller squad to play against the scorching Suns, who also won 123-115 with to 35 points from their bench and 25 points from Devin Booker.
Foster and Paul already had a well-documented history of animosity, which was further heightened by the guard’s dismissal.
