Felix’s first games in Barcelona were against Real Betis and Royal Antwerp, and he absolutely dominated both of them. His start to life in Barcelona could not have gone much better as a result.

However, as of late, his contributions have started to dry up, and the chance of making his temporary stay a permanent one is looking less and less possible, given the tremendous demands that Atletico Madrid has placed on him.

A price has been established for Atletico.

According to MARCA, Atletico Madrid would negotiate with Barcelona for a payment of at least seventy to eighty million euros in order to secure the permanent sale of Joao Felix.

The Rojiblancos do not have a positive outlook on Felix’s comeback because the Portuguese player had previously fallen out of favor with boss Diego Simeone.

Nevertheless, Atletico Madrid wants to set a price that will help them recover part of the money that they spent for him in 2019, when they paid Benfica a grand total of 126 million euros by way of a transfer fee.

Despite the fact that the Spanish club acknowledges that the signing was a mistake, and that waves of unreliability continue to hold sway, they are not willing to set a cheap price for him in the market just yet.

a position held by Barcelona

As a result of their current financial situation, Barcelona, on the other hand, is in a hazardous circumstances.

Even if Felix got off to a strong start, his recent performances do not meet the criteria necessary to justify paying a certain amount in that region, especially considering that they are in a financial bind.

In spite of this, the Catalans would be compelled to go to great lengths in order to keep the winger if the price was reasonable.

According to a previous source, Barcelona and Joao Felix have already reached an agreement on a transaction, provided that they have any room in their financial fair play framework and that Atletico Madrid pays him a price that is reasonable.

Due to the fact that Felix’s future appears to be uncertain, the authorities will continue to analyze his performances throughout the season. The season is of a long duration.
