Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James pulled out a bizarre celebration that ended with him pretending to smoke something and passing it to Christian Wood while also stomping on it, but what made it more strange was that he had just missed a layup.

The unique celebration occurred halfway through the second quarter of the Lakers’ home game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night at Crypto.com Arena.

James, 38, put some English on a left-handed layup that just barely tipped off the rim. He looked down at his hand, motioned as if he was shooting at it with a finger gun, stomped something out and then did the smσƙι𝚗ɡ bit.

The four-time NBA champion got so into the smσƙι𝚗ɡ celebration that even his cheeks puffed up as if he were holding in the smoke.

Fans on social media were quick to speculate on whether or not James smokes cannabis because the way he did the celebration suggests he was simulating smσƙι𝚗ɡ a joint.
