Regardless of the sequence in which he does it, Jamal Musiala has always celebrated his debut in that 8-0 thrashing of Schalke at the beginning of the 2020/21 season by making a “M” with his fingers and pumping his fist. Musiala recently experimented with a unique celebration during Bayern Munich’s Champions League match against Galatasaray: the bow.
His goal against Galatasaray was the first time he displayed it. A bow to express gratitude to those in attendance. He plans to deconstruct the maestro gesture in future highlight games and mammoth goals.
Paradoxically, Musiala had previously set the bow as his usual celebration in FIFA Mobile (now EASFC Mobile). Additionally, there was that one occasion in the 2022–23 season, perhaps during a 4-0 victory against Bayer Leverkusen, when Musiala scored a goal and Alphonso Davies had to remind him to execute his signature “M” celebration.
