According to Turkish journalist Burhan Can Terzi, who cited SPORT as his source, Ilkay Gundogan, a midfielder for Barcelona, has expressed his desire to play for Galatasaray before he decides to call it quits on his sports career.

As a result of this, the reporter goes on to say that members from the Turkish squad really met with Gundogan in Germany a few days ago; however, the specifics of the meeting are still unknown at this time.

There is a widespread belief that Gundogan is intent on concluding his football career by donning the Galatasaray jersey, a team that he has been a fervent supporter of ever since he was a young boy, at least once throughout his professional career.

“Gundogan told his representative that he is at the end of his career and that he wants to wear the Galatasaray shirt before retiring,” the journalist added. “Gundogan is at the finish line of his career.”

He went on to say that Gundogan had stated that he was ready to discuss this matter with Barcelona Football Club.
