Six young Barcelona talents that Xavi is watching while training to promote to the first team

One pillar has remained a light of optimism even as Barcelona continues to suffer with the woes of the world, regaining their shape, rebuilding their long-term project, rediscovering their identity, and regenerating their finances.

In spite of all the challenges, La Masia has continued to serve as the club’s primary training facility, continually developing young players and giving them the tools they need to be successful when making the transition to the first team.

Earlier today, during Barcelona’s training session, it appeared that Xavi had brought up a large number of young players from the Juvenil A and Juvenil B teams to watch them work.

The Catalans have not only struggled with a lack of energy and movement in midfield as a whole throughout their stretch of faltering form (Gavi being the lone exception to this), but lengthy injuries to Pedri and Frenkie de Jong have also had a significant influence on them.

It should come as no surprise that the Catalans are trying to add more young players who are capable of breaking into the first team and continuing to hold the fort down despite the fact that their budget appears to be tight for the foreseeable future and that squad depth may become an issue.

Because of their enormous technical talent, Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez have emerged as major contributors to the first team in only this one season. It seems as though they will be stalwarts in the first team for many years to come, despite having come out of nowhere to make their mark.

Let’s have a look at this group of names and see which players have the potential to make it into Xavi’s starting lineup if he chooses to promote them during the course of the current season.

A. Navarro, Albert

The left back, who is now 16 years old and came to Barcelona from Damm when he was a junior in 2016, has been a part of the Barcelona system ever since.

It is reported that he has a wonderful left-footed stroke of the ball and that he is a specialist from free kicks as well as being quite powerful. In addition, it is said that he is very powerful.

Because of his versatility, Navarro has been compared to Mika Marmol. Like Marmol, Navarro can play both center back and outside back.

Victor Guillem Guillem

The fullback from the Juvenil B team who is currently impressing with the Juvenile A team appears to be one of the most intriguing and adaptable players available to the team as a whole.

Victor can play right back, left back, interior midfielder, pivot, and even invert while playing wide positions, despite the fact that his native position is right back.

He is very composed, and he emanates a certain elegance when he is on the ball. He has a fantastic ability to pass the ball, and he is very clever with his movement both in and out of possession. His profile is comparable to that of Joao Cancelo.

Nil Caldero Caldero is a winger who can play on either the left or right flank and also as a right wingback. He has been with Barcelona for three years and is currently 18 years old.

He is direct, quick, and not afraid to take on his man. He drives toward the box with a good eye for goal, and he has already scored four times for the Juvenil A in the 15 games that he has played.

Comparisons have been made between his playing style and that of the legendary former Barcelona player Pedro Rodriguez, which is an encouraging sign.

Jesus Muoz Christ

Muoz, who is only 18 years old, has been compared to Oihan Sancet in terms of his amazing stride. He is a creative inside forward who can also play on the left or as a false nine, and he is adept at entering the area and taking shots on goal. Muoz can also play on the left.

This is Arnau Pradas.

It has been ten years since the winger, who is now 18 years old, entered Barcelona’s youth setup. The ball always seems to be stuck to his left foot, and he demonstrates exceptional close control of the ball.

Because of his impeccable dribbling skill, he is able to outdribble opponents and find open space in the court even when it does not appear to be there. He typically serves as a left winger but can also play on the right and inside the arc.

The name Oscar Gistau

Gistau, who is only 15 years old but has a high potential for growth, is a striker who also has the ability to play on the left wing and has a keen eye for the goal.

As he climbs up the ranks, he is impressing with his constant pressuring and the seven goals he has scored in his 13 outings between the Juvenil A and B sides.
