American professional basketball player Anthony Marshon Davis Jr. plays for the NBA. He can play power forward and center for the Lakers.

He has been named to the NBA All-Star Game seven times and the All-NBA First and Defensive Teams three times each. Seven-time NBA All-Star. He also won a gold medal with the US Olympic team in 2012. He played with the Hornets and Pelicans from 2012 until 2019.

He joined the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019 after signing a deal. Anthony Davis has unique tattoos on every inch of his body. 1. ‘Mamba’  Tattoo

Tattoo:  Anthony’s right thigh contains a tattoo of a black mamba snake coiled up around a logo of a shield.

Kobe Bryant, who died recently, designed the emblem, which depicts a swоrd in a sheath. Kobe says, “The swоrd is the undeveloped talent that lies dormant within a person, and the sheath is the effort that a person puts forth to develop his talent.” In the NBA, Kobe Bryant was called “the black mamba”. Anthony got this tattoo to honor Kobe.

2. Portrait Tattoo

Tattoo: The All-Star has a depiction of an elderly man with “REST UP” above and “Champ” below. Both tattoos are on the All-Star’s right shoulder.

Anthony’s tattoo has personal meaning for him. The portrait depicts Anthony’s maternal grandfather, Lamont Eberhardt. Anthony remembers Lamont as a role model from their time together in 2010. These lines form the sentence “Rest Up Champ,” which Anthony used to thank Davis, whom he called “Champ” due to their extended professional connection. While discussing Lamont, Davis said, “I looked up to him. Every day I went to his house, we talked basketball. He kept pressuring me. He always talked about Kobe. He was encouraging me to go out there, and I shouldn’t sаy I should outdo him, but I should try some of his stuff.

3. ‘Chicago’ Tattoo

Anthony has a tattoo of “Chicago” on his right bicep with 1993 below it in a smaller typeface.

Anthony Davis was born in Chicago on March 11, 1993. The tattoo shows his birth city and year. Davis said of the tattoo, “I got it because I love my city and where I’m from, knowing that I wouldn’t be where I am without the city of Chicago”

4. Baby Girl Tattoo

On the inside of his left forearm is a big tattoo of a baby girl with two rose blooms over her head.

Meaning: This tattoo of Anthony’s daughter Nala Davis is precious to him. Anthony got this tattoo to sаy he loves his daughter with Brittney.

5. Initials Tattoo

Tattoo: His right wrist has the initials “A D” on the inside.

Meaning: Most people think the initials are his nаme, but they’re wrong. Anthony Davis’ tattoo honors his father, Anthony Davis Sr.

6. Cross Tattoo

Anthony’s right forearm has a cross tattoo on the inside.

Meaning: To honor a loved one, the cross has “RIP” tattooed above it.

7.  ‘Stars, Doves, and Nаme’ Tattoos

Tattoo: Anthony’s right forearm has several star and dove tattoos to complete his sleeve tattoos. The letters “N, A, L, and A” with a crown over the N are tattooed on the outside of his right forearm from wrist to elbow.

Meaning: The letters spell out Nala, his beloved daughter.

8. Leg Tattoo

Tattoo: His right lower thigh has another huge tattoo. The tattoo is hard to see because Anthony wears leg coverings even in games.
