Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were expected to carry the load for the Golden State Warriors in Stephen Curry’s absence against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.
In what way? Neither of these future legends played more than two minutes. Both were sent to the locker room during the heated match against the Minnesota Vikings.
It all started when Thompson and Jaden McDaniels, a seasoned player for the Timberwolves, tangled up. Thompson and McDaniels got into it and were both subsequently removed. Green, meanwhile, got into it with Rudy Gobert and was tossed out of the game for a Flagrant 2 foul.
The atmosphere inside Chase Center in San Francisco was completely out of control.
After McDaniels truly ripped Thompson’s jersey, it’s unclear what Thompson is supposed to do. Green defended his teammate by putting a head hold on Gobert. This action resulted in a Flagrant 2 and his ejection.
This past weekend, Draymond Green was dismissed after getting into it with Donovan Mitchell, a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Some fans believe the NBA league office should punish Green for the way he’s been acting in recent games.
Green’s fаme has spread far and wide. Thompson, on the other hand, is more calm and restrained than anyone else on the court. Tuesday night in San Francisco, that was certainly not the case.
The Golden State Warriors are looking to avoid a fourth straight regular season loss while trying to win their second consecutive in-season tournament. However, they will be without three of their four future Hall of Famers for this game.
As you can expect, people all over the internet had something to sаy about the triple ejections.
