In the latest installment of the I-94 rivalry, the Milwaukee Bucks knocked off the Chicago Bulls, 118-109

The Bucks dominated the first quarter. Two runs laid the groundwork for their lead. Their 9-0 start was followed by a 15-2 run midway through the quarter. Giannis’ spinning fadeaway 3-pointer ended the period and gave Milwaukee a 35-18 lead.

The Bulls fought hard in the second quarter, frustrating the Bucks. Milwaukee’s offense likewise stalled and needed readjusting midway through. The Bucks led 59-49 at halftime because to Malik Beasley’s deep shot.

Chicago took its first lead early in the third after a poor start, but the Bucks quickly recovered. Pat Connaughton scored to put them back in ahead and lead 83-74 heading into the fourth.

Stat That Stood Out

Off the bench, Bobby Portis continued to shine. He scored 11 points in the first quarter to start. He added another double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The consistency of his nightly presence is amazing.
