Internal turmoil, Robert Lewandowski rages at Lamine Yamal and snubs gestures during Barcelona 2-1 Alaves

A victory over Deportivo Alaves by a score of 2-1 allowed Barcelona to end their regular season on a winning note before the break for international competition.

During the post-match press conference, Xavi stressed the fact that it was not a simple game for Barcelona at all. In spite of this, the club was successful in securing all three points because to the accolades received by Robert Lewandowski.

However, despite scoring two goals, it was not Lewandowski’s best game. He frequently became upset, and at one point, he was really angry at one of his teammates. This was despite the fact that he did score two goals.

The friendly overture made by Lewandowski to Yamal

Yesterday evening, Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal got into an altercation, and Lewandowski displayed his displeasure to Lamine Yamal, who is a young forward for Barcelona. This was reported by SPORT.

Lamine Yamal had the opportunity to make a pass to Robert Lewandowski in the 72nd minute of the match, when the score was still 1-1. This would have presented Lewandowski with a respectable chance to score.

However, the youngster decided to attempt the goal on his own, and Alaves goalkeeper Antonio Sivera was able to stop the shot in the end.

Lewandowski was incensed by Yamal’s choice, and he expressed his displeasure with the decision by making an angry gesture toward the younger player. From a distance, Yamal did not respond to the Pole’s question, but it appeared as though he was trying to explain himself.

Not even a handshake

That was not the end of it. Following the occurrence, Yamal went over to Lewandowski to shake hands with him.

The Pole, however, kept a solemn expression as he decided against shaking hands with the young player from Barcelona. This particular occurrence was picked up by the camera.

However, the Pole is himself considered to be one of the best professional attackers in Europe, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the two players made up in the locker room after the game because of this fact.
