Man City make €60m offer for PSG teenager Warren Zaire-Emery

According to reports, Man City offered 60 million euros for PSG youngster Warren Zaire-Emery.

Rising Star: Warren Zaïre-Emery

Last season, the 16-year-old midfielder made his PSG debut, making 31 appearances and tallying 2 goals. This 17-year-old teenager has emerged as one of the Ligue 1 team’s main stars this season.

He was called up to the French national squad for the first time earlier this week, and he has made 15 appearances across all competitions while scoring two goals.

Zaire-Emery swiftly rejected Man City’s offer of 52.6 million pounds (60 million euros), according to a recent announcement made by France Télévision.

Zaire-Emery is regarded as one of today’s most gifted young performers. He is thriving under head coach Luis Enrique, and should he keep up his current level of success at PSG, he will command a high transfer cost as a sought-after player.

When the January transfer window opens in the new year, Man City might get another chance to try and sign him. However, Zaire-Emery’s primary focus at the moment is his November 18 debut for the French national team against Gibraltar in the EURO 2024 qualifiers.

Zaire-Emery will be the youngest player to play for Les Bleus since World War II if he participates. This record is currently in Camavinga’s possession. In September 2020, at the age of seventeen years and thirty-three days, the Real star made his debut for the Gaulois Rooster. Furthermore, he poses a danger to several records that Kylian Mbappe set for the French national team.
