Dane Rashford was detained in Miami Beach on October 20. According to police records, he appeared in court the next day and was released on $1,500 (£1,224) bond before his pre-trial hearing.

The Telegraph said that his 24 October accusation was misdemeanour battery, which was later redefined as domestic viоlence. The Football Association-registered intermediary Dane works closely with his brother Marcus.

The Manchester United forward’s agent, DN May Sports Management, is under Dane. Dwaine Maynard, Rashford’s other brother, is likewise a registered FA intermediary and was named on the official FA documentation for his past two contracts with the Red Devils.

After being arrested, Dane was photographed by police. A pre-trial ‘stay away order’ from the Florida court requires Dane not to contact the victim.

Chantelle Maynard paid Dane’s bond a week after his arrest, according to Florida court filings. He pleaded not guilty and posted bail. Dane has another hearing on November 27.

Daysi Vega-Mendez, Miami Dade County assistant state prosecutor, told The Telegraph: “The case is still active, at the moment I haven’t been able to get the victim. Our office is contacting the UK Embassy to request permission to talk to the victim.

“I am unsure if they are in the US or have left. Apparently they were on vacation. After being charged, you cannot leave the country. If someone leaves, they forfeit their bond.

“The case is still active and scheduled for arraignment on November 27.”

Dane, Manchester United, and Rashford have not commented. The Rashford family believes the matter is addressed, the article says.

Dane has been in the news before. He and Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold’s brother Tyler were robbed by a group of me𝚗 with a sawn-off shotgun, machete, and baseball bat in January 2019.

The brothers were Һit in the head and robbed of a £70,000 Range Rover, wallets, and luxury watches while eating breakfast with friends. Each of the three attackers was jailed.
