The latest ‘bunga bunga’ woman faces eviction as Silvio Berlusconi’s heirs seek to reclaim properties. Manuela Ferrara, a former TV weather girl who identifies herself as a ‘journalist, model, and influencer,’ was among the numerous women invited to events that Berlusconi maintained were nothing more than ‘elegant dinners.’
Approximately 20 women were promised financial compensation and houses by Berlusconi, who passed away at the age of 86 in June, citing ‘reputational damage’ stemming from their involvement in the sex scandal. Now, Berlusconi’s offspring aim to sever ties with these women and have them removed from the residences he provided them in and around Milan.
Manuela, who has also been in a relationship with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, has been informed that she must vacate her residence in the upscale Bande Nere-Primaticcio area of the city by the end of the year. Notably, she has chosen not to pursue legal action, setting her apart from other women involved in the situation.
Manuela, who is 39 years old, and her twin sister Marianna, were among the guests at Silvio Berlusconi’s now infamous parties held at his luxurious residence in Arcore during the early 2000s. These gatherings later became the subject of a criminal investigation.
During a subsequent legal hearing, Manuela, who had worked within Berlusconi’s TV network, explained to prosecutors: “I’m a good girl, but I’ve been portrayed as an escort, which is absolutely absurd. We received 2,500 Euros a month from Berlusconi, as did many other women who attended the events at Arcore. However, these were not crude or uncomfortable evenings; there was nothing scandalous. The dancers provided entertainment as part of their livelihood.”
Subsequently, Manuela left her position as a TV weather presenter but went on to participate as a contestant on Italy’s version of “I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.” She continues to make regular appearances on talk shows and works as a model for underwear and calendars.
Two other women, Alessandra Sorcinelli and Barbara Guerra, who also attended these events and have received eviction notices, have chosen to confront Berlusconi’s heirs and have even threatened legal action.
Alessandra asserts that Berlusconi had promised her three million Euros as compensation for the negative publicity she endured due to the bunga-bunga parties. She has instructed her lawyers to pursue legal action, citing evidence that supports her right to remain in her apartment.
Barbara’s lawyer, Federico Sinicato, revealed, “We possess several recordings in which Berlusconi assures my client that she can continue to reside in the apartment without any issues. We are prepared to make these recordings public if necessary.”
In one of the recordings, Berlusconi is heard assuring her by saying, “I promise you on my five children, a loan for use immediately, and as soon as the trial is over, and our lawyers give us the all-clear, I will put it in your name.”
Prosecutors in various legal cases against Berlusconi have alleged that the allowances and properties were offered as incentives to the women in exchange for favorable testimony during hearings against him, particularly in a case where he was accused of paying an underage girl for sexual services.
Both of these women reside in properties on the outskirts of Milan and have maintained that nothing inappropriate took place between them and Berlusconi.
