A fourth supporter said: “Wouldn’t have expected much less at Fulham. Look like daytrippers”. Manchester United won 1-0 against Fulham, giving Erik ten Hag a much-needed break after back-to-back 3-0 home losses.

McTominay supported the United manager before the game, promising to improve after eight losses in all competitions. The Scotland international remarked, “The fans want results and performances and to see the players smiling and happy.”
“It’s not happening at the moment, but I’m 100 per cent sure the manager can put that into practice and it can come off.”
