“Please address this immediately, honoring your integrity, and end this terrible wait.
“In the nаme of love and compassion, we ask that you reconsider your actions and allow us to get him back.”
Diaz’s request came hours after he scored a 95-minute equalizer against Luton and lifted his shirt to show ‘Libertad Para Papa’—’Freedom for my father’.
The 26-year-old came off the bench at Kenilworth Road to secure a crucial point for Liverpool, who are third in the Prem after the 1-1 draw.
Patricia, 40, a female warrior, is suspected of planning the hostage take for months.
Colombian authorities are offering $200,000,000 Peso (£40,600) for Luis Diaz’s return.
South America, where Luis Diaz is popular and plays for the national team, is outraged by the kidnаp.
As she begged her husband’s release today, Diaz’s mother Cilenis Marulanda held back tears.
She told reporters, wearing a t-shirt with his face and ‘your family is waiting for you’, “I want them to release him now.”
“That the people who are keeping him free him now back to me, because we want to have him back home.”
In their hometown of Barrancas, La Guajira, gunmen attacked the couple at a petrol station.
They left Cilenis in the car but dragged Luis away before police arrived.
Today, town residents protested for the father’s release.
Diaz was absent from Wednesday’s 2-1 EFL cup fourth round win over Bournemouth and last weekend’s game against Nottingham Forest due to the kidnapping.
Jürgen Klopp attributed Sunday’s 3-0 win over Forest to Díaz, calling it “for our brother”.
