During the third quarter, the Magic were able to expand their lead to as high as 25 points.

In the game’s final quarter, the Los Angeles Lakers made one last effort to win by starting the fourth quarter with both Anthony Davis and LeBron James still on the court. Los Angeles was able to draw within 13 points, but after Cole Anthony made a three-pointer with 4:04 left, the Lakers decided to throw in the towel and pulled their two starters while also using up all of their reserve players.
