According to Football Insider, striker Mohamed Salah will likely leave Liverpool in 2024 to move to Saudi Arabia to play football.
This newspaper calls Salah’s departure an “inevitable” deal, as Saudi Arabia will be determined to return next January to lure the Egyptian star to the Middle East. Football Insider even said that Saudi Arabian officials are working secretly to sign contracts with both Salah and Kevin De Bruyne – Man City’s star midfielder.
The source confirmed that Salah’s transfer from Liverpool to Saudi Arabia is “expected to be successful” in 2024. Last summer, The Reds reportedly received an offer worth 150 million pounds for Salah, but bluntly refuse.
However, Liverpool will certainly have to think again if another lucrative offer comes back to buy Salah in the near future. In general, Salah is 31 years old and not young anymore, so Liverpool selling him at a high price is truly a bargain.
Salah himself has also reaped all the glory with Liverpool, notably winning the Champions League and Premier League. Leaving in the near future will help the former AS Roma star make a lot of money for the rest of his career, something not every player can have.
Liverpool is also said to be pursuing Bayern winger Leroy Sane to replace Salah. From now on, The Reds must prepare the necessary plans for a future without Salah. Currently, the Egyptian international is still under contract with Liverpool until 2025, receiving a salary of 350,000 pounds per week.
This season, Salah has scored 10 goals in 14 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions, showing how important he still is to the club.
Liverpool is really serious about Leroy Sane
Mohamed Salah is still playing impressively for Liverpool. However, the Egyptian player is 31 years old this year and is currently of interest to teams in Saudi Arabia. If Liverpool receive an offer worth at least £100 million for Salah next year, they could consider letting him leave.
Even now, Liverpool scouts and Jurgen Klopp are planning to find a replacement. Not long ago, German newspaper Bild revealed that the Red Brigade was targeting Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane to replace Salah.
Liverpool wants to recruit Leroy Sane to replace Mio Salah
And most recently, the Mirror revealed that Liverpool is determined to bring Leroy Sane back to the Premier League. Liverpool’s football department and Jurgen Klopp both highly appreciate Sane. They believe he will be the perfect replacement for Salah.
Sane’s experiences in Man City’s shirt, in addition to his comprehensiveness when joining Bayern Munich, were an important key for him to join Liverpool. Sane and Gray Tigers’ contracts are valid until 2025.
In case an extension agreement cannot be found, Bayern Munich must consider the offer from Liverpool for the 27-year-old German player. Liverpool hopes an amount of 55 to 65 million euros will help them get the German player’s signature.
