The NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets, will exclusively don their new City Edition uniforms for select home games this season.
In partnership with the NBA, the Denver Nuggets unveiled a fresh alternate uniform on Thursday.
The newly introduced City Edition jersey will serve as an alternate attire for the 2023-24 NBA season.
This distinctive “5280” City Edition ensemble features a vibrant yellow “5280” emblazoned on a black jersey, set against a backdrop of muted mountains.
Notably, the jerseys also showcase a white Ibotta patch, representing the team’s new jersey sponsor.
Declan J. Bolger, the Nuggets’ Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the significance of “5280” and its association with the team. He stated, “5280 is a badge of honor. 5280 is a competitive advantage for us, and this City Edition uniform is an opportunity to reinforce that competitive advantage… It’s our rallying cry.”
Bolger continued, “The skyline is at 5,280 (feet above sea level). The skyline and number are interchangeable. Everybody looks at that skyline and knows that’s Mile High Basketball, Denver, which is at 5280.”
