LeBron James Breaks Another Record In His 21st Season In The League

One more record is broken by LeBron James. Many people, even those who aren’t NBA fans, may know him for breаking the league’s scoring record. But some may not know that he’s still breаking records in his 21st season.

The Los Angeles Lakers faced a harrowing game. Their game against their younger brother, the Los Angeles Clippers, required overtime.

As a result, James only played 42 minutes. He also contributed 35 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, one steаl, and two blocks.

This stat line just broke another league record.

The record is set by a player in their 21st season scoring the most points in a game. It may not be a flashy record to break, given that only five players in the league have played this long.

Furthermore, James’ per-game averages are at an all-time high.

However, it is a record that adds to the 19-time All-Star’s extensive resume.

Nowitzki set this record on April 9, 2019, when he scored 30 points against the Phoenix Suns.

With his 35-point performance against the Clippers, the four-time NBA champion now holds the record.

Another record to break for the play-reading, prediction All-Star. If his longevity is as good as the league claims, he should be looking forward to the next player: Vince Carter.

The eight-time All-Star is the only player in league history to have played 22 seasons. In addition, his highest point total during his previous season was 17.

With the plays he’s been making, the once-in-a-generation player is making his 21st season look easy, so another year won’t hurt.

However, James has already requested that Anthony Davis serve as the “face of the Lakers.” This could indicate that the 38-year-old is planning his retirement from the league.

Do you believe James will play for another 22 years?
