Victor Wembanyama Hyped by NBA Fans as a ‘Superstar’ amid Spurs’ Win vs. Durant

On Thursday night, Victor Wembanyama dominated the competition.

The young player, who is only 19 years old, scored a career-high 38 points as his team, the San Antonio Spurs, defeated Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns by a final score of 132-121.

In a total of 34 minutes of action, he shot 15-26 from the field, including 3-6 from beyond the arc, and added 10 rebounds and two assists to his stat line.

Wembanyama was very busy both on and off the ball, even helping to set up a give-and-go that he finished off with a lob. Fans of the NBA were blown away by the 7’4″ behemoth.

Despite the fact that his team lost, Kevin Durant scored 28 points on just 15 attempts at field goals. In addition to that, he had a total of six rebounds and two blocks. Fans, on the other hand, couldn’t help but draw parallels between the past Most Valuable Player and the player who is selected first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft.
