According to Sport1, Barcelona target Joshua Kimmich seems to have made a decision about his future.

As Barcelona target a replacement for Sergio Busquets in the summer, one of the top names on the list is Joshua Kimmich. However, Bayern Munich are absolutely not interested in selling their star midfielder, and the Catalan team’s financial difficulties also make the deal difficult to happen.

However, the door for Barca to recruit Kimmich is likely to happen next summer. According to Sport1, Kimmich is not willing to sign a new contract with Bayern . This means that his current contract will expire in 2025 , so the Bundesliga champions can soon sell Kimmich to avoid losing all players on a free transfer.

 Kimmich does not want to renew with Bayern.

Barca are one of Kimmich’s options, although Real Madrid and Manchester City are also thought to be potential contenders. The midfielder born in 1995 will be a notable signing for the Blaugrana and that is provided he is willing to reduce his demands. 

However, with the interest of other clubs and a significant lack of financial resources, it is difficult for Barca to reach an agreement.
