Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and his wife, Savannah, unveiled their latest Halloween costumes, and they are nothing short of spectacular. This year, the power couple drew inspiration from the 1988 Tim Burton film “Beetlejuice.”
“Beetlejuice” is a classic film in which a recently deceased couple, who become ghosts haunting their former home, enlist the help of the obnoxious and devious “bio-exorcist” Beetlejuice, portrayed by Michael Keaton, to scare away the new inhabitants. Miss Argentina, also known as The Receptionist and Miss Receptionist, makes an appearance in the Netherworld waiting room in the movie. The film features stars like Winona Ryder and Alec Baldwin.
In recent years, “Beetlejuice” has been adapted into a popular Broadway musical that has embarked on a successful U.S. tour since December. The musical is also set to tour in Brazil, Sweden, and Australia in the coming 18 months.
LeBron James is well-known for his love of Halloween, and he goes all out when it comes to costumes and celebrations. Last year, he shared photos of his elaborate Halloween decorations, which included a large Pennywise figure in the driveway, an Annabelle doll, and Michael Myers from the “Halloween” movie series.
With LeBron’s evident enthusiasm for the holiday and no Lakers game scheduled for Halloween night, the question that remains is whether the James family will be handing out king-sized candy bars to trick-or-treaters.
