UPDATE: King NBA LeBron James’ Injury Status For Magic-Lakers Game

LeBron James is listed as questionable for the game on Monday due to an injury.

The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic is scheduled to take place in California on Monday evening.

Even though LeBron James is classified as questionable on the injury report for the game, it is expected that he will be able to participate.   

The following statement was provided by Underdog NBA: “LeBron James (ankle) is probable Monday.”

James has participated in all three of the team’s opening games and is averaging 23.1 points, 10.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. He is shooting 57.1% from the field and 29.4% from beyond the arc.   

The Lakers currently have a record of 1-2 and are coming off a loss against the Sacramento Kings by a score of 132-127.  

James finished the game with 27 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists while shooting 11 of 19 from the field and 3 of 8 from beyond the arc. In total, the game lasted 39 minutes.

The Los Angeles Lakers finished the previous season with a record of 43-39, which placed them in the seventh seed position in the Western Conference.

They were able to get all the way to the Western Conference Finals, but ultimately fell short against the Denver Nuggets (over the course of four games). 

James is currently in his sixth season with the Los Angeles Lakers, during which he led the team to victory in the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

They will play their next game on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers after they finish their match against the Magic. 

The Magic are currently undefeated and are coming off a 102-97 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers (which took place in Oregon).

In 35 minutes of action, Franz Wagner was the team’s leader after scoring 23 points, grabbing five rebounds, and dishing out three assists. 

The Magic were eliminated from the NBA playoffs for a third consecutive year after finishing with a record of 34-48 and receiving the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference. In addition, the Magic did not qualify for the conference tournament.
