With this performance, Jokic has joined the elite company of LeBron James and Jason Kidd, each with 107 career triple-doubles to their name.

Aaron Gordon was a force to be reckoned with, amassing 21 points primarily through thunderous dunks, helping the Nuggets maintain their flawless 4-0 start to the season. This marks Denver’s first 4-0 start since 2018 and the sixth such start in franchise history. The 1976-77 team still holds the club’s best start record with a remarkable 8-0.

On the Jazz side, Lauri Markkanen impressed with 27 points and 14 rebounds, while Walker Kessler contributed 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Talen Horton-Tucker added 16 points to Utah’s efforts.

Denver has been in the lead for a mere four-and-a-half minutes this season, seizing control of the game just 16 seconds in after an early 3-2 lead by the Jazz. The Nuggets established a 17-point lead in the early stages of the second half, but the Jazz launched a comeback, narrowing the deficit to 73-65 late in the third quarter. Collin Sexton sank two crucial 3-pointers to bring the score to 85-80, putting pressure on Denver’s reserves. However, following a timeout, coach Michael Malone turned back to his star players.
