After a season in which they were victorious, not just Erling Haaland but also the entire Manchester City team was given the recognition that they richly earned.

After capturing the Premier League, the League Cup, and the FA Cup, Manchester City was named the “Best Men’s Football Team of the Year” at the Golden Ball event. It should come as no surprise that the club coached by Pep Guardiola and playing in the Premier League was, by a wide margin, the best team in Europe and in that competition. 

Although Pep was not there, other members of the team traveled to France to accept the award on the club’s behalf and represent the entire organization. According to the Daily Mail, Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Julian Alvarez, Ederson, and Ruben Dias are the recipients of the awards. Additionally, Erling Haaland was named the winner of the Gerd Muller Award.

Man City was awarded “Best Club of the Year” for their accomplishments during the year.

In addition to this, the Chief Executive Officer of the club, Ferran Soriano, stated:

“We have a great deal of pride. Everyone who works at Manchester City carries a great deal of pride. Our season overall has been quite successful. However, this is not an award for a particular season. We are all here for these incredible athletes, as well as for our coaches and the people in charge of football. This achievement is the culmination of ten years’ worth of labor put in by a large number of people who remain unseen and anonymous behind the scenes.

The fact that Man City has five players ranked in the top 10 is evidence of how successful they have been. We are inspired to keep pushing ourselves to become better and will do so in the future.
