The first NBA champions are the Denver Nuggets.
The champion team, led by two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Nikola Joki and great point guard Jamal Murray, won the 2023 NBA Finals. In five games, they beat the Miami Heat. Last night, the Nuggets won 94–89 at Ball Arena in Denver to end the series.
Joki had the most points for Denver last night with 28. He also grabbed 16 rebounds as that team won. The dominant center was named 2023 NBA Finals MVP after the game. As the Nuggets won, power forward Michael Porter Jr. scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Murray scored 14 points and had 8 assists.
On the court, the Nuggets players wore some of the best performance basketball shoes on the market right now. These included high-end styles from companies with a long history in basketball (Nike, Jordan Brand) as well as new companies (New Balance, 361 Degrees).
Murray, a 2020 New Balance player who signed with the company, talked about some of their shoes. During the five-game series, Murray wore different styles of the company’s court-ready Two Wxy v3 shoe. Bruce Brown, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Aaron Gordon, a 361 Degrees-supported baller who wore different colors of his 361 Degrees Zen 5 style, all wore different Nike Kobe silhouettes.
Here is a list of the Nuggets’ top 10 shoes from the 2023 NBA Finals.
