In addition, the player, who is now 31 years old, participated in eight NBA playoff games for the Phoenix Suns, who were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in the second round.

According to a story that was published by Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium on Saturday night, the Memphis Grizzlies are expected to reach an agreement with Biyombo.

According to sources who spoke with The Athletic and Stadium, Charania reported, “The Memphis Grizzlies are planning to sign center Bismack Biyombo.” After the fifth game of Ja Morant’s ban, the team is eligible to sign Biyombo because of the exemption. With Steven Adams sidelined for the season, Biyombo provides rim protection (1.4 blocks per game in the previous season).

Biyombo was selected seventh overall in the NBA Draft in 2011, and he has spent time on the rosters of the Charlotte Hornets/Bobcats, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, and Toronto Raptors over the course of his career in the NBA.
