LeBron James debuted the Nike LeBron 21 in the Los Angeles Lakers’ first game of the season.
The defending world champions are always honored on Opening Night of the NBA regular season. It was hard to look away from LeBron James at the season opening, even though the Denver Nuggets showed off their brilliance and won.
At 38 years old, James has embarked on an unfathomable 21st NBA season. What’s even more unbelievable is his level of production. James carried the Los Angeles Lakers with 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
James, who never misses an opportunity, kicked off the campaign wearing his newest pair of Nike sneakers, the LeBron 21. The performance basketball sneaker was first unveiled by James and Nike in September, and since then, several colorways have been launched, including the identical one James wore on Opening Night.
Nike LeBron 21
To mark the beginning of his 21st season, James wore the Nike LeBron 21 in the ‘Dragon Pearl’ colorway. Luckily for fans, the shoes are available in adult sizes for $200 on the Nike website.
According to the product description, the shoe is draped in a shade of Melon Tint, contrasted by a fiery Metallic Red Bronze around the heel counter. Beyond looking good, the model performs great on the court. The low-cut, lightweight silhouette features a cabling system that works with Zoom Air cushioning for an unmatched ride.
Last season was a milestone year for James. Not only did he become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, but he celebrated two decades with Nike. As much as things change, fans can continue to count on James to bring the heat night in and night out.
