Superstar Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors never stops coming up with new ways to create history on the basketball court. Curry is always moving up the leaderboards, whether it is with his three-point shooting or other aspects of his game. Curry became Golden State’s all-time leader in made field goals during Monday night’s game between the Warriors and Thunder.

On the Golden State’s all-time record of made field goals, Curry surpassed Wilt Chamberlain, but he accomplished it in a very different way. With his ability to shoot, Curry, the all-time leader in three-pointers made, has altered the nature of the game. It is difficult to foresee too many Warriors statistics records that Curry won’t own by the time his career finishes.

Curry now owns the franchise records for career points, threes made, assists, steals, and field goals made. His game-winning field goal on Monday night set a new record for the Warriors, who defeated the formidable Thunder club on the road with a 38-point effort. OKC would not go away from this game, but Curry and the Warriors managed to hold off a Thunder charge in the second half.

With his MVP-caliber performances, Steph Curry is still helping his Warriors catch up in the fiercely competitive Western Conference. Not only did he win tonight, but he also created history.
