Gabriel Agbonlahor and Dominic King, who play together for Manchester City, are of the same opinion that it was a mistake for Pep Guardiola to let Cole Palmer to leave the club and sign for Chelsea.
Cole Palmer, who is 21 years old and believed to have excellent potential, does not have many opportunities to play for Manchester City because the club already has so many top-tier offensive players. This past summer, he made the decision to move from Man City to Chelsea in the hopes of receiving greater playing time.
They were able to walk away from Man City with transfer money totaling 42.5 million pounds. The young British superstar has made a smooth transition to Chelsea, netting a goal in each of the Blues’ most recent two Premier League meetings against Burnley and Arsenal. Dominic King, an expert with Mail Sport, believes that Pep Guardiola made a mistake when he allowed the promising young player Cole Palmer to leave the team. I stated:
“I don’t get why Man City decided to sell him,” I said. Cole Palmer is one of their most promising young players, and he has the potential to become a premier winger in the future. I believe that it was Pep Guardiola’s worst decision when he was in charge of Manchester City.”
The aforementioned comment was corroborated by Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former striker for Aston Villa. Agbonlahor revealed the following: “Cole Palmer is playing well at Chelsea, and he will be the future of the London team.” When Man City traded him to a team that competes directly with them in the Premier League, I found it quite difficult to comprehend; I believe that they will come to regret their decision.
