‘I did not break it… it’s a lie’: Cristiano Ronaldo insists he did NOT ᴠɪᴏʟᴀᴛᴇ coronavirus protocols after being ᴀᴄᴄᴜsᴇᴅ of flouting rules by Italy’s sports minister after testing positive

Juventus released a statement saying, “Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Italy with a medical flight authorized by the competent health authorities at the player’s request and will continue his isolation at his home.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is self-isolating after testing positive for coronavirus on duty with Portugal

The former Real Madrid player uploaded a photo of himself relaxing by his pool on Instagram earlier on Friday. The message read, “Don’t let what you can’t do get in the way of what you can do.”

Ronaldo posted a picture on Instagram of himself lounging around by his swimming pool

Ronaldo will be absent from both Juventus’ Serie A match against Crotone and their Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev due to his need to self-isolate.

It’s also being discussed if Ronaldo will play in the highly anticipated Champions League encounter on October 28 against Barcelona and Lionel Messi.

Vincenzo Spadafora said Ronaldo may have broken coronavirus rules after his positive test

According to reports, he must have a negative Covid-19 test by October 21 in order to be qualified to take on his longtime Argentine opponent.

Cristiano Ronaldo has retaliated against Vincenzo Spadafora, Italy’s minister of sports, who thinks the Juventus player may have violated coronavirus protocols by returning to Italy via plane from Portugal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner tested positive for coronavirus while traveling abroad with Portugal. On Wednesday, he flew from camp to his home in Italy via private aircraft.

However, the Juventus star is adamant that he didn't flout any coronavirus protocols

However, Spadafora responded to a question on Rai Radio about whether Ronaldo had broken any Covid-19 regulations by saying, “Yes, I think so, if there were no specific authorizations from the health authority.”

Ronaldo, however, has subsequently refuted that assertion after going live on Instagram Live and asserting that he followed all legal requirements.

‘I’m always at home, and right now I’m sunbathing, too, to let the days pass,’ the 35-year-old wrote on Instagram. As stated: It’s a lie. I respect the protocol; I did not violate it.

Because my team and I made sure to follow all the protocols, I was able to return from Portugal.

Before being allowed to reunite with his teammates, Ronaldo and Weston McKennie—who has also tested positive for the coronavirus—must stay in self-isolation for a minimum of ten days and must test negative.

In anticipation of their match against Crotone on Saturday night, the entire Juventus team was forced to sequester themselves following McKennie’s positive test.

Following her sibling’s good test, Katia Aveiro, Ronaldo’s sister, attacked the coronavirus on her Instagram page.

“I have to say that Cristiano Ronaldo is a true prophet from God if he has to awaken the world.” I’m grateful,’ she wrote.

“Today, thousands of people, like myself, will come to doubt the pandemic, the tests, and the measures implemented. This is the biggest fraud I have witnessed since my birth,” I believe. Please open your eyes.
