According to Fotospor, the Red Devils and the Gunners sent scouts to watch the French defender in action against Besiktas on Saturday.

Brighton and Burnley scouts were also reportedly present to see youngster in action.

Right back Boey is seen as a player who could strengthen Arsenal and Man Utd in a key squad area.

While Man Utd are keen on an upgrade on Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot, who have failed to gain consistency for the club.

However, it was previously reported that Brighton were ready to outbid their rivals for Boey.

According to Turkish outlet 343 Digital, Brighton bid £16million for the France youth international in May.

Arsenal had tabled a bid of £14.7m for the talent, although both bids fell short of Galatasaray’s valuation.

The Super Lig side are said to have placed a £22m price tag on Boey’s shoulders.

Boey has played 69 times for the club since joining two years ago.

He won the Turkish title last year.
