Before the 2016-17 season, German manager Jürgen Klopp was enjoying some leisure time on a yacht near the small Balearic island of Formentera in the Mediterranean. He was preparing for his first full season at Liverpool, accompanied by his wife Ulla and an unidentified blonde companion.

In anticipation of the upcoming season, the 49-year-old German businessman was spotted relaxing in the Mediterranean sun on his yacht, located near the picturesque island of Formentera.

In preparation for his return to preseason training in early July, Klopp is taking a holiday.

The manager was seen sharing jokes and laughter with his wife while she was water skiing.

Jürgen Klopp and Ulla Klopp (formerly Sаndrock) were first married in December 2005 when she worked as a bartender at the Munich Oktoberfest.

Ulla, who was once a teacher, now writes children’s novels.

Liverpool is aiming to improve on their eighth-place position from the previous season, and therefore the manager is expected to have a busy offseason.

Liverpool reached two finals, but they were defeated in each, including the Europa League final against Sevilla, which would have meant they advanced to the Champions League.

This summer, Klopp is reportedly linked to several players in an attempt to strengthen a team that lacks speed on the wings and is deficient in defense.

Mario Götze, a winger for Bayern Munich, Neven Subotić, a defender for Borussia Dortmund, and Piotr Zieliński, a midfielder for Udinese, have all been linked in recent weeks.

The former manager of Borussia Dortmund was spotted with his wife Ulla and an unidentified group of people. Marc, Klopp’s only child, didn’t seem to be traveling with him.

On the yacht are his wife’s son and an unidentified topless blonde who is probably the stepson’s girlfriend. The rest of the group laughed a lot when the pair leaped off the top of the yacht and into the water. Other partygoers enjoyed themselves on water skis and speedboats as well. On Thursday, they lounged in the sun at the Formentera beach. With only 10,000 people living there, Formentera is the smallest of the Balearic Islands and is reached by ferry from Ibiza in 30 minutes.
