The legend warned Arsenal before the match against Chelsea

Chelsea host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in an important match for both sides. The Blues want to continue winning under Mauricio Pochettino, while the Gunners also want to maintain their unbeaten streak in the Premier League.

With 9 points separating the two sides, many people believe that Mikel Arteta’s team will win. Since August 2018, Chelsea has not won against Arsenal at home, which further tilts the balance in favor of the away team.

The legend warned Arsenal before the match against Chelsea

However, legend Paul Merson sent a warning to Arsenal before their trip to Stamford Bridge. He said: “Chelsea didn’t play too well against lower-rated teams, but they played impressively against big teams.”

“Chelsea once held Liverpool to a draw at home, they can continue to make things difficult for Arsenal. Pochettino’s team is in good spirit after consecutive victories. It will not be an easy match for Mikel Arteta’s army.”

Paul Merson also appreciated Raheem Sterling, adding: “ If Raheem Sterling can repeat his performance against Burnley, he is unstoppable. I think he is the most dangerous spearhead in Chelsea’s current attack, Pochettino seems to have found a way to help bring out the best in him.”
