England secured their place in next year’s European Championship with two games to spare and celebrated this achievement in style on Tuesday night. In a thrilling comeback, Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane led England to a 3-1 victory over Italy at Wembley, helping put to rest the memories of their defeat in 2021.
This triumph solidified Gareth Southgate’s team’s spot in the upcoming competition in Germany next summer, where they are poised to be strong contenders for the title.
With their mission accomplished during the international break, several Three Lions players understandably chose to unwind after the game. According to The Sun, a group of prominent players, including Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, James Maddison of Tottenham, and Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool, celebrated their victory at a prestigious London nightclub and accrued a bill estimated at £35,000.
Among those in the group were Luke Shaw and Jack Grealish, who were joined by various celebrity guests at Mayfair’s Tape nightclub. Curiously, Harry Kane was reportedly absent from the celebration.
Boxer Chris Eubank Jnr is said to have joined the group at the venue, which has a minimum table spend of £2000. The drinks menu included upscale options like Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades champagne (£650 a bottle), Dom Perignon Vintage Luminous (£1,050 for a magnum), and Belvedere vodka (£1,300 for a jeroboam). The group enjoyed cocktails and spirits throughout the night.
Despite the extravagant celebration, a source emphasized that the festivities were in good spirits and not overly indulgent, as the players had club responsibilities over the weekend and chose to unwind in a more relaxed manner.
“It was a fun night, and the players deservedly let their hair down,” the source revealed. “There was a sense of celebration.
“It was fantastic to see the Three Lions squad bonding together.
“The lads had a good time, but they remained responsible, considering the important club fixtures looming this weekend.”
Maddison and Grealish were seen toasting to their Tottenham colleague and Italian full-back Destiny Udogie and even chanted his name during the celebration.
The group reportedly headed to the Bulgari hotel in Knightsbridge, known for its opulent rooms that can cost around £11,500.
Celebrity hairdresser Ahmed Alsanawi was seen arriving at the hotel the following day, as the party-goers, somewhat bleary-eyed, made their way to the lifts while other hotel guests came down for breakfast.
Maddison, Bellingham, and Alexander-Arnold were also spotted in the company of actress Emily Atack at the popular celebrity venue, Chiltern Firehouse, on the same night.
