LeBron James, the famous NBA player, has informed his father Bronny that he will be making a quick comeback to the basketball court.
During the Los Angeles Lakers media day on Monday, LeBron, 38, was questioned regarding Bronny’s condition. Bronny, 18, had experienced a cardiac arrest during a workout at the University of Southern California, little over two months prior.
LeBron stated, as reported by Jovan Buha of The Athletic, “Bronny is doing extremely well.” In order to return to action this season, he started his rehabilitation.
The NBA player also said that his son had a “successful surgery,” according to Buha.
LeBron concluded his remarks about his kid, who recently started his first semester at USC, by saying, “We’re happy to see where he is and what his future still has in store for him.”
ESPN revealed on September 27 that USC basketball coach Andy Enfield provided Bronny with a rehab update that was comparable to LeBron’s. “Bronny is doing great, but we are unable to comment on any medical matters. Although the athlete did not take part in the team’s opening practice of the season, Enfield stated, “He’s going to class and doing extremely well in school, and we’re really excited for him.”
According to a spokesman for the James family, Bronny suffered a heart arrest in late July while working out for basketball at the university.
Bronny’s diagnosis of “an anatomically and functionally significant congenital heart defect” was revealed by the James family in August. According to the family, it is something “which can and will be treated.”
