On Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo posted a shirtless photo to Instagram, showcasing the results of his training regimen.
The 37-year-old football player looked to be unwinding in a sauna in the black-and-white picture, showing off his toned body.
The sportsman posted a comment on his commitment to leading a healthy lifestyle while sporting his own name brand underwear.
“Lifesterism pulls the trigger, genetics carries the gun,” Cristiano wrote.
Cristiano uploaded a picture of himself working out his core earlier this week, giving readers a peek at his exercise regimen.
The striker hasn’t been present for Manchester United’s preseason trip in Thailand, though.
After yet another dismal season without a trophy, Ronaldo had previously declared his intention to leave the team. However, the latest social media post could indicate that an arrangement has been reached at Old Trafford for the club legend to remain.
With just one new player, £14.6 million defender Tyrell Malacia, and without Cristiano Ronaldo, new manager Erik ten Hag and his team arrived in Thailand.
Because of his uncertain future at Old Trafford, the club is still unsure if Ronaldo will be able to participate in the four-game, sixteen-day trip to Thailand and Australia at a later time.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United party scheduled to depart for our pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia on Friday,” a club spokesperson stated.
He’s been given more time off to attend to a family matter. Cristiano is not for sale; he has a one-year deal with Manchester United.
Although the player has missed four days of practice thus far, he is reportedly upset over reports that he has not been up, given that the club granted him permission to remain in Lisbon with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and his kids.
But given that Ronaldo informed United he wanted to go and that his agent, Jorge Mendes, had discussions with multiple clubs, his prolonged absence is certain to spark rumors about his future.
His chances of participating in the Champions League next season are also quickly diminishing, as Chelsea has decided to follow Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain in declining to recruit the great.
Although he was mentioned as a possible Robert Lewandowski replacement for Bayern, the German champions would never seriously consider taking on his lavish contract of about £500,000 per week. They also purchased Sadio Mane.
Although PSG has no problem spending money, they also turned down the opportunity to team Ronaldo with Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, and Lionel Messi when the player’s agent Jorge Mendes called.
