Inside Jimmy Butler’s elite team, as the NBA star hopes to turn $45 million into billions thanks to a $100-a-cup coffee business

It doesn’t matter where you look, Jimmy Butler is the man.

The NBA player, who is now 33 years old and lives inside the league’s bubble, started a coffee business and has since expanded it into a lucrative enterprise.

Butler decided that he wanted to expand his portfolio after signing a contract extension with the Miami Heat in 2021 that would pay him $184 million over the course of four additional years.

After the NBA was disbanded and its players were exiled to Orlando to compete in the so-called “Bubble,” Butler started his own coffee company and named it Big Face.

He invested in equipment and started peddling coffee in the neighborhood soon after.

The six-time NBA All-Star offered cups for twenty dollars, and he was aware that due to the restricted options around the bubble, players would give in to his high price point. However, he was confident that he would sell the cups.

Following the conclusion of the NBA bubble season, Butler moved his business to the next level, which resulted in him receiving favorable evaluations and making a profit.

He established a legal organization for his firm, registered his corporation as a trademark, and invested $60,000 in coffee beans.

Big Face was formally introduced to the public in 2021, and since then, Butler has been actively promoting the brand at a number of notable events.

He worked along with the headwear brand LIDS to host a pop-up shop during the Miami Open Tennis Championships.

If Butler is successful in his endeavor, each cup of his coffee will bring in $100, and the total revenue from the sale of 10 million cups will equal one billion dollars.

The former Marquette student was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft.

Butler has spent a total of 11 seasons playing in the NBA and has participated in six different all-star contests.

In addition to that, he has been named to the All-NBA team as well as the All-defensive team five times.

The NBA Finals are currently taking place, and Butler and the Heat are competing against the Denver Nuggets. The score is locked at 1-1 heading into Wednesday’s Game 3 of the series.
